Company Timeline Customers Sectors

S.A.I.E.E. S.r.l. was founded by Roberto Lirussi, in 1979, at first as a sole proprietorship, later being established in the current corporate form. Since the beginning, the company worked in the sector of industrial automation, growing apace with the technological evolution of the various systems and by proposing to our customers the most innovative solutions, thanks to a know-how that we developed over the years and to a quality always deserving certification.

TIMELINE

  • 1979

    Automation devices supported by contactors, relays and timers.

  • 1981

    First applications based on PLCs, at first the Klockner PS 24, and subsequently Hitachi, Omron and Siemens systems.

  • 1984

    First approach to CNC technology through the interfacing of an ELSAG 500 controller.

  • 1986

    First completely autonomous CNC application: FAGOR 8010 on a VIOTTO grinding machine.

  • 1988

    Cooperation activities with Siemens are started: controllers such as the 810 GA0 1 2 3 – 805 – 880 – 840C – 810 are installed, up to the current 840 D SL controllers. The long and close cooperation with Siemens allowed us to be entirely independent in configuring the systems, the commissioning, the axis calibration and the machine software.

  • 2000

    We begin getting acquainted with robotics by means of the first plant driven by a COMAU robot; since then, we acquired the skills for DENSO, KUKA, STAUBLI and EPSON systems.

  • 2010

    We begin getting acquainted with the technology of artificial vision systems, acquiring more and more experience in this sector.

  • 2018

    Obtained the
    UNI EN ISO 9001:2015
    certification

  • 2021

    Adoption MOG 231.

  • 2022

    Entry into the ITS foundation as a participating member.

  • 2024

    We become Siemens Solution Partner.

SECTORS

The activities of S.A.I.E.E. S.r.l. are exclusively addressed to the industrial sectors. We have operated in the following industries: wood, automotive, metalworking, construction with reference to iron-working machines, light foundry processing, machine tools in general, robot-driven devices, packaging, production lines, heat treating, and anything else concerning automation and control processes.
